Material/Appearance:

  • Product Description: Consists of three layers: surface layer oak, middle and bottom layer pine. Top layer features one row of strips, Family grade.
  • Finish Surface Layer: Protected by 5 layers of acrylic matt lacquer UV hardened, including 3 layers of primer lacquer and 2 layers of UV-hardened surface ceramic lacquer.
  • Connection System Boards: Each package includes assembly instructions for the Cross Edge - Barclick system and transverse lock insert made of HDF.

Characteristics of the Surface Layer:

  • Surface Appearance: Yellow-brown oak wood with natural features, characterized by grain variability and varied colours. It darkens under UV rays, featuring a four-sided microbevelled top layer structured by brushing.
  • Hardness: The oak top layer tested according to EN 13489 standards, with an average hardness of 37 MPa.

Description of Surface Layer:

  • Classification: Free class according to EN 13489, Family class according to Barlinek.
  • Characteristics: Includes healthy knots acceptable up to 35mm in diameter, unhealthy knots with fillings acceptable up to 25mm in diameter, and unhealthy holes from knots acceptable up to 20mm in diameter. Bark pockets, varied color schemes, varied arrangements of fibers, silver grains, and sapwood are acceptable. Filling cracks are acceptable up to 5mm wide and 200mm length. Biodegradation of the surface layer is unacceptable.

Recommended Frequency of Floor Maintenance:

  • Protektor Concentrate: For everyday cleaning, yielding approximately 500m²/1L.
  • Protektor Complete: For periodic cleaning, yielding approximately 200m²/L.
  • Protektor Shine: For periodic regeneration, yielding approximately 100m²/L. Always use Protektor Complete before applying Protektor Shine. Avoid excess in crevices of brushed and bevelled floorboards.

Attention: Use only agents intended for lacquered floors. Sand and water spills should be promptly removed. Regular cleaning and maintenance delay the need for thorough cleaning with Protektor Shine.

Care & materials

Granite composite is roughly four parts natural stone to one part resin — non-porous, heat resistant to 280 °C and scratch resistant in daily use. Clean with warm soapy water; avoid abrasive powders. Conservation products for granite composite are available under Accessories.
